Info Minnal FM


Minnal FM, formerly known as Radio 6 and Radio Malaysia Saluran 6 (Radio Malaysia Channel 6) is a Malaysian national Tamil radio station operated by Radio Televisyen Malaysia, the government broadcasting service under the Malaysian Ministry of Information.
It was the first 24-hour Tamil language broadcast service in the world. It serves as a source of information and entertainment not only toIndian Malaysians but to people of Indian origin worldwide as well as Tamil enthusiasts.
Minnal FM broadcasts on the frequencies of 92.3 and 96.3 MHz in Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley from its headquarters at Angkasapuri. Minnal FM is broadcast on 98.9 MHz in Ipoh. Currently the director of Minnal FM is B. Parthasarathee.

Info Hitz.FM

hitz.fm is a Malaysian national radio station managed by AMP Radio Networks, a subsidiary of Astro All Asia Networks plc. hitz.fm is Malaysia's leading English-language station [1] with an estimated 1.5 million listeners [2].

HITZ FM was launched into Malaysian FM airwaves in January 1997 after being one of Astro's audio-only channels since the launch of the satellite network in October the year before.
In 2000, the Malaysian Top 10 (later renamed Malaysian English Top 10) was introduced, airing every Sundays at 4pm to bring the limelight into local Malaysian music which would suit the tastes of hitz.fm's listeners, especially indie acts.
In April 2001, HITZ FM was rebranded as hitz.fm (with a dot) as an emphasis of its significant Internet presence for its listeners rather than just being a radio station, providing online facilities like webcasts of their announcers in action as well as radio streaming.
In August 2003, a rift between Li'l Kev and the management of AMP over the contract between them caused him and FlyGuy to leave hitz.fm abruptly. Jason Lo and Rudy Sufian were called up to fill in their places and eventually became the new Morning Crew. (Later, Lo switched time slots with JJ Fernandez for the drive-home slot). Later in the same year, HITZ.TVwas launched as a complement to the radio channel.
In 2005, the hitz.fm Malaysian English Top 10 Awards was introduced to honour the best of Malaysian English-singing musical talent and compositions. Two such events have held thus far.
In 2008,Rudy announced his decision to give up his morning show.Rudy confessed to having problems getting up in the mornings and needed to change his work pattern.With the new schedule(The new hitz.fm morning crew), JJ now has a new co-partner Tengku Mohd Ean Nasrun, better known as Ean.
In September 2010,Airtime Management and Programming (AMP) is launching three of its radio channels in East Malaysia. ERA, MY FM & hitz.fm will run from the hearts of Kuching beginning 25th October 2010 and Kota Kinabalu beginning 1st December 2010.

Info Fly FM


Fly FM is a private radio station in Malaysia owned by Media Prima Berhad. It was launched on October 3, 2005 and targets listeners aged between fifteen and thirty years old. Fly FM is the second most popular English radio station in Malaysia, besides being the fastest growing radio station in the country.[1] The music on Fly FM is aired in both English and Malay.
This station used to broadcast live from KLIA and is the first radio station in the world to be situated in an airport.[2]
In 2007, Fly FM introduced a programme slot called "50 minutes of non-stop music" where the crew will air songs for 50 minutes withoutcommercials.
The station was initially launched by the popular deejay, Fly Guy (Saufian Mokhtar), as its public face. Together with Phat Fabes, he was the weekday morning deejay for Fly FM. However, within the first year, he replaced himself with Ben (Loh Ben Jern). On 26 June 2011, The morning show replaced by (Hafiz Mohd Hatim and Prem Shanker) as a new morning crew and renamed the show as Pagi Rock Crew with the originate crew (Aini Nadia Mohd Nazir)

Info Mix FM


MIX fm is a Malaysian national radio station managed by AMP Radio Networks, a subsidiary of Astro All Asia Networks plc.
Specially created for the sophisticated and modern under - 40 year old, MIX fm plays adult contemporary hits from the 80s to the 90s including mainstream pop. It features a fresh music mix peppered with lighthearted features, contests, lifestyle updates, environmental issues, etc.
Internet savvy listeners can also log on to the stylish MIX fm website which contains MIX announcer profiles, announcer blogs, promotions/contests and freebies, as well as more lifestyle info like movie reviews, book reviews, traffic reports, plus news and weather updates.

Info Lite FM


LiteFM merupakan radio berbahasa Inggeris di Malaysia yang bernaung di bawah pengurusan AMP. LiteFM menjadi pilihan kira-kira 439,000 pendengar dan muncul sebagai stesen radio Inggeris pertama di kalangan pendengar berumur lebih daripada 25 tahun di Malaysia pada 2008. Saluran ini dilancarkan ke udara pada tahun 1997 dengan nama Light & Easy.
Golongan sasarannya adalah untuk pendengar berusia 35 tahun ke atas dan membawakan lagu-lagu Inggeris. LiteFM adalah satu-satunya stesen radio negara ini yang memainkan lagu carta United Kingdom dan Amerika Syarikat dari era 70-an, 80-an, 90-an hinggalah ke hari ini.

Info Sinar FM

SINAR dengan motonya "Muzik Retro Terbaik" (dahulunya Cahaya Hidup Anda) merupakan stesen radio berbahasa Melayu di bawah pengurusan AMP Radio Networks milik Astro All Asia Networks plc yang turut memiliki rangkaian TV Astro. SINAR yang memainkan Muzik Retro Terbaik, iaitu seleksi lagu dari tahun 60-an hingga sekarang merekodkan 3.3 juta pendengar pada 2008. SINAR juga boleh didengari menerusi perkhidmatan Astro di saluran 857.

Info Era FM

Era FM, is a Malaysia national Malay radio station operated by AMP Radio Networks. The adult contemporary category radio station broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The radio station went on air on August 1, 1998. In the past few years, this station played a better mixture of music from 80's to now, but now it seems to play multilingual songs (especially Korean songs).
The frequency slot, which is 103.3 FM in Klang Valley, was originally Classic Rock, which was five of the first radio under AMP Radio Networks, to be launched into Malaysian FM airwaves in January 1997 after being one of Astro's audio-only channels since the launch of the satellite network in October the year before. Over the one year period, demand grew for radio content in Bahasa Malaysia, as radio listeners who were exposed to AMP’s English brands wanted the same formats but in other major local languages. This compelled AMP to make changes to its lineup, and swapping Classic Rock to ERA FM, leaving Classic Rock as an Astro-only radio station.[1] On August 1, 1998,ERA FM went on air as the first private radio station to be broadcast in Malay-language completely, with Hijau by Zainalabidin, which is a trademark for the radio station, being the first song to be played on the radio station, ending the monopoly of Malay-language radio stations by government-owned radio stations. Prior to 2000, like its sister stations, ERA FM did not have any frequency in Sabah and Sarawak. The radio station is once the leader in Malay-language FM radio stations, but has lost its popularity to its sister station, SINAR FM.

Info Hot FM


Hot FM is a Malaysian radio station owned by Synchrosound Studio Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Media Prima. Broadcasts transmitted from Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama. Hot FM began test transmission operation began January 15, 2006, and officially commenced operations on February 6, 2006. The frequency of Hot FM, was acquired from Datin Seri Tiara Jacquelina's radio station WaFM, after WaFM ceased its transmission on October 15, 2005 and was bought by Media Prima. WaFM began transmission in 2004, replacing WowFM, which began operations on September 1, 2000, after ending a monopoly of 100% English-language private radio stations by AMP Radio Networks
Hot FM broadcasts 24 hours a day. Led by a former presenter with Era FM, Seelan Paul, Director of Network, Hot FM broadcast songs of the 90s, the latest Malay songs, Indonesia, and international as well as information about music.
In 2009, Hot FM down in history as the first time was at the top among all radio stations in Malaysia with 3.8 million weekly listeners[1], while overcoming traditional enemy of the Era FM only reach 3.76 million listeners weekly. However, the popularity has lost to AMP Radio Networks' SINAR FM in the following year.
